Understanding Inter-Personal Boundaries

This course covers the foundational aspects of boundary setting in family and personal relationships, its dynamics and effects on the individual. It includes discussion on how boundaries develop, types of boundaries, and different faces of boundary violations. Issues on trauma and abuse, guilt and shame will be tackled as one of the factors why boundaries are difficult to establish.



Dr. Cecilia Regencia, MA, EdD, RGC, Professor of Counseling at the Alliance Graduate School in the Philippines. Active in local campus Christian ministry and a volunteer counselor at the Union Church of Manila, Philippines. Sometimes she appears in the court as an expert witness for legal cases. She is in the forefront of pioneers in Boundary Analysis in the Philippines.
