Experiencing loss is an inevitable part of life. Loss is often multi-faceted and affects an individual’s life in significant ways. Though difficult, this reality needs to be faced through a healthy grief process that leads to healing.
This seminar-workshop will briefly explore the psychological and biblical perspectives on loss and the grief that naturally comes with it. It will also discuss grief facts and misconceptions and the healthy and unhealthy ways people deal with loss. Furthermore, emphasis will be given on how the healthy way, though difficult could be rewarding for the griever in the long run. Practical tools to empower grievers cope with loss and grief and live quality lives after experiencing a loss. Participants will also explore their own losses and grief reactions thru personal reflections.
