We invite you to a seminar workshop on The Attachment Factor in Addiction. The seminar will help participants learn different attachment styles and its connection to the formation of addictive behavior. It will deal with issues that unresolved childhood trauma and abuse create — issues such as insecure attachment styles that play a significant role in life for a person who chooses to seek attachment with objects (addiction) instead of another healthy human being. The seminar/workshop will also tackle the positive effects of having a secure healthy attachment with parents, teachers, counselors, practitioners occupying leadership roles — those who are available, safe to be with, having a playful time, and consistent. The seminar will also discuss God’s original design for a healthy attachment system; that the human brain is social brain and has the capacity to experience and impart Divine love, relational healing and intimacy.
Ms. Jocelyn N. Laverinto, President of the Philippine Association of Christian Counselors, will walk you through this topic. Participants who are licensed counselors will gain 3.5 CPD units. You may register now by clicking the “Sign Up Here” button below.
